Ting is a patent attorney in our in the Electronics, Software and Communications team.

Before joining Venner Shipley, Ting worked in the UK Automotive Industry for a number of companies, culminating with Bentley Motors. There, working in the electrical/electronic function, she was responsible for integrating the latest technologies of passive driving assistance and comfort systems and vehicle tracking, immobilisation and security systems.

Education

Ting graduated from the Beijing University of Civil Engineering with a first class honours BSC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Coming to the UK, she then completed her MSC in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Whilst at Nottingham, she also published a paper entitled “Temperature adaptive IGBT gate-driver design” at the 2011 EPE (European Conference on Power Electronics and Drives).
