Runhan is a UK and European patent attorney in our Electronics, Software and Communications team.

Education

Runhan graduated from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department in University College London; continuing on to do a PhD in the Implanted Devices Group in Medical Physics and Bioengineering department in UCL.  Runhan’s PhD project was based on an FES cycling system for incomplete spinal cord injury patients. A key feature of the system is that it adjusts the stimulation intensity relating to the corresponding voluntary drive to the same muscle. The project involves the design and construction of the necessary electronic instrumentation and mechanical apparatus, the design of the feedback control loop, development of the software program to record and process the data and using appropriate statistical tools to analyse the experimental data.

Runhan also completed a Technical Entrepreneurship course in UCL.
