2022 Promotions

We are delighted to announce a number of internal promotions across Venner Shipley, effective from 1 July 2022.

These include the promotion of Catrin Petty to Partner and the promotion of Christopher Dunleavy to Senior Associate.

Catrin Petty joined Venner Shipley in 2014 as a part qualified trainee. Catrin is a UK and European patent attorney in our Chemical and Life Sciences team, based in Manchester and specialises in drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of fields, including agrochemistry, drug delivery, food technology, graphene and carbon nanotube technology, peptide and peptoid chemistry, pharmaceuticals, polymer technology and medical devices.

Chris Dunleavy is a UK and European attorney in our Electronics and Engineering team, based in Cambridge. The focus of his work is the filing and prosecution of patent applications in the fields of electronics, computer implemented inventions, sensor systems, medical devices and materials science.

We also celebrated a number of promotions within our business services support team.
