Trainee Patent Attorneys – Computer Science / AI
We are looking to hire graduates with an academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Information Science/Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline to train as Patent Attorneys at our offices in London and Guildford to start in Autumn 2023.
We act for some of the most widely known innovative technology companies, universities and university spin-outs, as well as niche players in high tech fields. The work is technically challenging and varied, covering subject matter across a wide range of cutting edge fields including AI and machine learning, image processing, robotics, cryptography, driverless vehicles and 5G.
The role involves analysis of technical documents, drafting and amending claims and discussing inventions with clients. There will also be opportunities to handle contentious matters. Successful candidates require strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem solving skills.
