Profile
Thomas is a trainee patent at attorney in our Electronics, Software and Communications team. During his PhD he worked with robotic swarms, aimed at characterising nuclear environments that were unsafe for humans to enter. This involved and in-depth study of locomotion, sensing and control for mobile robots and the development of a control architecture for exploration, based on analogues of the fundamental forces of nature. Subsequently Thomas worked as a post-doctoral research associate on online risk assessment for robotic platforms determining if robots’ should approach risk as humans do and later developing a path planning technique involving a multi-layered costmap, using the robot operating system; with each layer being attributed to a different risk.
Education
Thomas graduated with first class honors in Physics from the University College London before completing his PhD in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the University of Bristol & The University of the West of England (jointly awarded).

얀 왈라스키 파트너 변리사는University of Southampton 에서 전자공학과에서 1등급 우등학위를 받았습니다. 그 후 Chester College of Law에서 변호사자격 과정을 거쳤습니다.
