George Hudson

Profile

George is a European and Chartered Patent Attorney working in our Mechanical team. His work focuses on the preparation, filing and prosecution of UK, European and International patent applications in all areas of mechanical engineering, with particular interest in aerospace, high-speed manufacturing, and medical devices.

George also provides advice on patent infringement and validity, and is experienced in guiding individual inventors and small companies through the process of obtaining patent protection. Additionally, he deals with the protection of designs, including preparing and prosecuting registered design applications worldwide.

Education

George graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a first class master’s degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He specialised in Instrumentation and Renewable Energy Systems and for his Masters project developed a condition monitoring system for wind turbine gearboxes.

George also completed a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and has also passed the CIPA litigation skills course.
