World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) Recognises Venner Shipley
Venner Shipley has been recognised once again in the tenth edition of the World Trademark Review 1000.
The annual trade marks rankings praised Venner Shipley as “ideally situated to offer all-encompassing trademark services.”
Our partners David Birchall, Paul Harris and James Tumbridge also received individual recognition. David Birchall was recognised as “on top of everything and great to bounce ideas off because he thinks things through from a business perspective’’ and “thanks to his assured leadership, ‘Venner Shipley provides a consistently excellent service and stands out for its quality, commerciality and efficiency. The team never makes mistakes, so you feel comfortable rather than having to double check everything’.”
The guide also commented that “the firm’s growing opposition and litigation practice is spearheaded by James Tumbridge and Paul Harris.” It endorses James Tumbridge as “cuts a dash having trained as an English barrister, practised law in England and Wales the United States and Canada, chaired INTA committees and published extensively on IP topics.” Paul Harris was also praised as “in the game for over 35 years and shown an unstinting dedication to his clients and the achievement of their goals throughout that time. He has knife-like patent, trademark, copyright and design litigation skills and is an authority on confidential information issues.”
The continued recognition for Venner Shipley from WTR1000 marks a great achievement and testament to the advice we provide to our roster of leading clients.
