Venner Shipley News

See below for a round-up of the latest VS news as featured in our Autumn/Winter 2021 Inside IP!
Legal Directory Success
We have been recognised once again by World Trademark Review in their World’s Leading Trademark Professionals rankings for prosecution and strategy and enforcement and litigation. The WTR 1000 focuses exclusively on trademark practice and has firmly established itself as the definitive ‘go-to’ resource for those seeking world-class legal trademark expertise.
WTR 1000 2022 commented “already a powerful force in the UK trademark prosecution sphere, Venner Shipley’s practice was boosted recently through its merger with Brookes IP. Thanks to this expansion of personnel and clients, plus the growth of its Munich offering, the firm has enjoyed a successful year despite recent challenges”.
International Trademark Association Conference
Our Trade Mark and Designs team, comprising David Birchall, Alex Brown, Jane Martin, James Tumbridge, Clare Turnbull, and Yoann Rousseau attended the 2022 International Trademark Association (INTA) conference in Washington, D.C., from April 30 – May 4 2022. INTA is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and complementary intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation, and committed to building a better society through brands. Our team had a successful trip meeting and networking with a number of peers and colleagues from the IP world. It was great to meet so many of you on the trip!
If you didn’t get a chance to catch up with us in Washington but would still like to discuss anything IP with us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by contacting us at mail@vennershipley.co.uk.
