Venner Shipley expands Munich office with German patent attorney and AI specialist Michael Fischer
Michael Fischer has joined Venner Shipley’s Electronics and Engineering team as Of Counsel. He will be based in our Munich office.
Michael’s practice focuses on computer-implemented inventions, including inventions in the field of computer networks, telecommunications, printing technology, games consoles, cryptography, Bitcoin and AI. He has extensive experience in preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office with a special focus on interdisciplinary inventions where AI meets other sectors such as chemistry and biology.
Previously, Michael held roles as in-house counsel for a multinational company based in Switzerland and in private practice building up the patent filing and prosecution practice for an English full service law firm in Munich.
