UPC News: The Administrative Committee takes significant steps towards the setting up of the Unified Patent Court

The UPC Administrative Committee has now published the amendments to the Rules of Procedure agreed at their meeting of 8 July 2022. Users of the system now have access to what is intended to be the final version of the rules under with the UPC will operate. There are 33 listed amendments of various scope and significance, including the substantial anticipated changes to the handling of confidential information filed during proceedings and changes to the rules relating to opt-outs. More detailed analysis will follow.
