OBN BioTuesday: Veterinary Science and Translational Medicine
We are pleased to be supporting OBN at their first Guildford based OBN BioTuesday.
This meeting will address the fascinating topic of: ‘Veterinary Science and Translational Medicine’, in particular how advances in veterinary science can often be highly valuable through translational applications.
Many of the medicines, procedures and surgical equipment that are currently in use for the treatment of animals were originally developed for human medicine, primarily because human therapy receives much more funding than veterinary medicine. However, this is not a one-way street, and advances in veterinary science can often be highly valuable to human medicine through translational medicine.
