Los Angeles CIPA Seminar – UK and European updates to the profession

Our partner Peter Thorniley is taking part in CIPA’s LA Seminar relating to UK and European updates to the profession amongst other UK and European Patent Attorneys.

Chaired by CIPA Vice-President Daniel Chew, this seminar takes place after the IPO – Intellectual Property Owners Annual Meeting in Los Angeles 18 – 20 September. The seminar will give attendees the opportunity to catch up on the latest updates to the IP profession in the UK and Europe.

Peter’s session covers Brexit and any changes to Patent, Trademark or Design applications. It will then focus on the upcoming UP & UPC, what you can expect from the court and what it means for your clients. Other sessions cover how to protect Biotech inventions in the UK, covering best practice and helpful tips and advice and an overview of the AI Consultation by the UKIPO and what this means for the future of AI and IP.
