Computer-Implemented Inventions Conference 2020

AI expert and Of Counsel, Michael Fischer will be speaking in Munich, Germany on the 21st February 2020 at the Akademie Heidelberg’s ‘Computer-Implemented Inventions Conference’.

The event will cover:

  • Innovations in the field of AI and its patentability
  • CII case law of the Federal Court of Justice
  • Recent case law of the Federal Patent Court
  • Official practice and case law of the European Patent Office
  • Country reports
  • Practice and strategy

Hardly any technology area will be able to exist without the use of computers in the future. This has far-reaching consequences for the patenting of computer-implemented inventions, since there will be more and more innovations in this area that meet the technical criteria. After the great success of the two previous year’s conferences, the conference will again provide a comprehensive overview of the current status of the CII discussion in Germany and abroad in 2020. Well-known experts from research, official practice, jurisprudence, corporate practice and consulting present the current developments and discuss their effects in daily practice.
