Akademie Heidelberg CII advanced workshop – Computer-implemented inventions in patent practice
Of Counsel, Michael Fischer will be representing Venner Shipley at Akademie Heidelberg’s upcoming workshop, ‘Computer-implemented inventions in patent practice’.
The workshop will include:
- Basic CII case law
- Recent developments in the case law of the EPO Boards of Appeal
- Current EPA guidelines on CII
- Enforcement of patents on CII
- Invention disclosure, drafting, strategy
The workshop is aimed at patent professionals in the broadest sense who already have initial experience in the field of CII and would like to deepen it. The speakers cover basic EPO case law and current EPO guidelines on CII. In the course of case studies, the participants learn to prepare for possible objections from patent examiners and to resolve them.
